Not on the move at 9 months

My eldest was like this and didn't crawl until just before he turned 1 - HV assessed him before then and basically said he's got the strength to do it he just needed time to figure it out on his own however he wasn't really interested in trying to figure it out 😂 once he started nursery and saw other babies on the go I think that encouraged him to move more!
If you are concerned there's no harm in asking your health visitor or GP just to assess and see if she does need extra support but honestly my HV assured me that some babies just don't crawl or move until after they turn 1!

Agree with Morgan, my first was soo lazy! I know they say you shouldn’t call them lazy but honestly, he could actually do it all but just looked at me ‘why would I move myself when you’ll do it!’ 😂🙈 Once he hit one, it completely clicked and he’d roll much more and at 14 months starting crawling and walking really quickly (coincided with starting nursery)

We are the same. Turned 9 months last week and no sign of crawling, he rolls front to back when lying down but when he’s sitting will happily sit and play with toys for ages. He has started to reach forward more now and sort of on to his knees but he doesn’t put his hands out and normally face plants the floor! 🤦🏼‍♀️
When he’s on his front he kicks his legs and sometimes lifts his bum but defo no movement!

Mine is rolling but no crawling - she likes to be waited on. But can stand really well when supported
