Teeth brushing

Those with little ones that have teeth now, how are you getting on with brushing them? My little one has 5 teeth now so im aware I need to be brushing them but he just bites the toothbrush and won't let me do it properly😅 any advice welcome!

Our dentist told us that it’s just about getting them used to it at this point so we make a game of it, all three of us (me and his sister and him) all brush our teeth together, I tickle him, let him hold his own brush and we sing songs and have a little party and then stop before it gets too stressful. I always brush his sisters teeth once she’s “had a go” (she’s just turned 2) and she gets to brush mine too, and then I try wipe the brush over all his teeth, but I try to keep it all light and fun.

I 100% don’t make a thing of “actual” brushing - I give her the tooth brush and sing a song while she chews on it and then I take it and give them a quick brush and give it back to her.

Like above - it’s just to get them use to it x

My little one has a full mouth of teeth and it’s honestly the bane of my life brushing them. Feel like I’m constantly stressing about it at the moment. I’ve ordered a variety of new toothbrushes to try but just so stressed because she’s got so many and just giving it to her to chew won’t get her molars at the back. She screams murder atm when I try to brush xxx

I always do my sons in the bath at night and he tips his head back but mostly he just tries to chew it so I let him “brush” them himself before going over them myself. I try make it a game like mummy have a go, and I brush my teeth at the same time. The mornings are harder but I try and do the same with him sat on the toilet lid and get him to “have a go” while I do mine , it’s a challenge for sure 😂
