Is this baby going to come out?
2nd time mum 39+5 and was praying for a spontaneous labour.
Absolutely 0 signs he wants to arrive whatsoever š
Iām being induced in 2 days at 40 weeks due to gestational diabetes so Iām absolutely gutted as really wanted to experience ānatural labourā. Had 2 sweeps that feel like they did nothing even though apparently I am 3cm with a favourable cervix.
Did anyone go into labour without any āsymptomsā as such?
Praying for a miracle now but I know itās highly unlikely š

I'm in the same boat, attempting a vbac with a c section booked for Wednesday at 40+1. Tempted to push the section back to next week but scared I'm just delaying the inevitable š
Oh I completely relate š I was thinking do I tell them to hold off and go for daily monitoring but like you say if they still donāt want to come Iāve just been uncomfortable for another week and still being induced regardless š£ itās the longest wait!
I'm 40+1 with induction booked for yesterday, which I've managed to get moved to this Tuesday in the hopes that spontaneous labour will still happen after my last sweep. But although I'm 4cm, also with a favourable cervix, and I'm cramping plenty, I haven't had any contractions. Poor baby girl has clearly been doing her job fine. It's my body that needs to realise it needs to start contracting now
Iām hoping this is what they will do! I just remember last time they literally gave me 1 hour after my waters were popped and were like nope the pitocin drip has got to go up š always feels rushed as there is no beds. I suppose I will just have to stand my ground a bit more this time to get the birth I want!
I had the same due date but this Weds got induced at 3cm by just breaking waters (big baby and high blood pressure and reduced movements). They broke my waters at 6:30pm and he was here by 10:30pm that evening!

I went in to be āinducedā at 41+1. I was 2cm - they broke my waters and labour started on its own, gave birth less than 6 hours later! Sometimes your body just needs that last push! X
Just to add, had no other labour symptoms other than Braxton hicks so definitely see if they can break your waters for you and see how your body responds xx
I really hope you do get one! Sometimes you just need a little push and it was such a positive experience for me this time! X
