Are you pregnant with your 2 are you saying and your toddlers kicking your belly

Avatar

Yess & my lo is too young to understand I try to tell him but especially when he’s having a cry fit and wants to be picked up he just kicks his legs

Avatar

Definitely grab his legs quickly I feel like when you get into mom mode your brain can quickly comprehend things a lot faster. It’s understandable it’s not his fault too maybe put a pillow or a thick blanket inbetween you and your little one. So that way your belly’s protected

Yeah I sleep with a pillow on my belly cause it got too much but during the day you can barely prevent it 😅

I’ve just had to redirect where I can. We now do stomping so we will both just stomp on the floor and he finds it hilarious and seems to distract him. Might work for you! He normally only does it for nappy changes so it’s not been too much of a problem but he can get kicky when he’s having a bit of tantrum

Sorry this is happening to you. I'm in a similar position. My 3 year old does the same (I'm pregnant with #2). It's crazy because sometimes she's really affectionate - kissing and talking to my belly. And other times she lashes out and hits me 🤦 I try to redirect and remind her that we don't hurt people. Especially mummy

my 20 month old is the same, i just tell him no and we need to be gentle with mummy's tummy!

he's too little to understand there's a baby in there, so we're just redirecting. it's mainly during nappy changes😅
