Please help, is anyone else going through the separation anxiety phase? I put my LO down and it’s immediately tears. During the day I stay in his sight luckily my house has an open floor plan so he settles just fine. But when is the bedtime routine it’s a nightmare. He won’t go down like he used to. He goes down great for his naps but won’t for the final put down. I usually put him down drowsy awake. He would roll over like and fall asleep. Now I set him down and it’s heart breaking. How are y’all dealing with this phase? I’m trying to stay consistent but this is a hurting my heart!

Yes 1000% often being in sight isn’t enough. I occasionally have to just let her cry so I can get stuff done. I am baby wearing when possible & if not I give her toys. I let my girl fall asleep, wait 10 min, then put her down. If she wakes up I wait to see if she starts crying & then we start over lol. I’ve never been able to do drowsy but awake, so my experience is different. Not the best advice, but you’re certainly not alone! I haven’t been able to get much done, I keep telling myself I’ll miss this when it’s over lmaoooo

so true I certainly am going to miss this. I would love to baby wear but he’s 23 lbs and my back hurts what baby wearing do yall use? I have a mom cozy one and the long tie it one. (I’m forgetting what the heck it’s called)

I am going through the same thing. I recently gave my son a “stuffless” animal to cuddle at night. It’s like a stuffed animal hollowed out LOL and once he gets hold of it in his hand he’s totally fine.

girl I hear you! Are those wraps? I think more structured carriers have been really helpful for us, like with the padding and straps. I have one by boba and I just got one by tula that I’m excited to try out! They are an investment, but I find them more secure and they don’t hurt as much. Sometimes I see really good ones on Facebook marketplace! Also, the hip carriers could be the extra support you need! Like by tushbaby, but I believe momcozy has one too.

I will add though, I’m not the best with wraps, so that’s really just my personal preference.

can you link the one you use!! I’m interested in trying this out. 🤩

perfecttttt!

Ergo baby Omni 360 , game changer for 26 lbs baby. He falls asleep while baby wearing, then I wait about 15 min and put him down. Cosleepling has been the best solution in my case.

my hubby scares me for co sleeping he always is rolling on me! I would love to co sleeping but my LO always thinks it’s play time when I try
