My boy was down to 9oz in the morning and 9oz for bed. He has 3 meals a day and 1 or 2 small snacks throughout the day. He’s a great eater but never been great for his milk. (He had CMPA and hated the formula).
Anyways, past few weeks we’ve slowly transitioned him from his formula onto oat milk while doing the milk ladder and suddenly for his morning and bedtime bottle he’s crying when it ends. I give him more but he’s now having around 12/13oz in the morning and night. Hes a tall boy for his age already and I’m not concerned about his weight at all. But, I was just wondering if this was normal for him to be suddenly wanting more milk when he’s almost 1. (I’m not used to him enjoying his bottle 🥹).
I’m not in any rush to get him off milk as he’s not even 1 yet. Has anyone else found their little ones are doing this?

Yes since my baby was poorly a couple weeks ago he's back upto 3 8oz bottles again and he went right off his daytime bottle before! He's also on 3 meals, i haven't started snacks though... just out of interest what snacks do you give?🤣
ahhh really! I was wondering if he was having another growth spurt too because he loves his grub when he’s going through his spurts🤣 I give him loads of different things! He loves raisins but obviously I keep a close eye on him. He has fruit, yoghurt, organix biscuits/oat bars from Aldi xx

Maybe! I was thinking maybe they have a growth spurt now ready for when it all slows down a bit when they hit 1🤞🤣

Maybe there’s less calories in the oat milk so he is hungrier, where formula is pretty calorie dense?

They have a growth spurt around now so I’d say it’s normal!!!
