Sweep

I had sweep at 40 weeks + 1 day and I was 2cm and could feel head but I'm still pregnant 6 days later 🥺

With my first baby midwife said she could feel the hair on baby’s head 🫣 nothing happened after that sweep or the following two sweeps. That was 40w+

I was 1 cm last Tuesday and I was 39+1 , and no luck. I am booked in for another sweep tomorrow so I am hoping that will help move baby along

At the sweep when I was 39+1, I was 2cm. At 39+4, I was 3cm. And the one that I had Friday just gone at 39+6, I was 4cm. Still no contractions. But I won't moan that I'm obviously dilating minus the pain so far. Now, I am very ready for actual contractions and labour to start, though 😂

Had my second sweep yesterday and I’ve been cramping since Wednesday they really cranked up since then it then fizzled our overnight. But they’ve started again today. Got a my last one booked for tomorrow so hopefully will be more dilated again or baby will be well on his way 🤞🏻

Mine was the same, I had a sweep on Friday. 2cm dilated and 50% effaced lots of cramps and backache, lost my mucus plug and a had a bit of a show but waters haven’t gone or contractions started. I am going in to be induced tonight due to GD and ‘large baby’ hopefully I will be more dilated when I go in and won’t take too long.

I had a sweep at 11am on the 8th and by 4.53pm same day I was holding my baby
