Hospital grade pump and leakage

I’ve been combi feeding my 4 month old since he was 5 days old. Decided to introduce formula as I was really struggling with painful nipples due to his poor latch. But things got better after 2 weeks and I started breastfeeding more often. However, my supply is running low now. Seems like he’s only receiving a bit during day as I have to top him up with formula and almost nothing in the evening. I want to equally combi feed but he’s currently receiving much more formula. So I’ve thought to rent a hospital grade pump. Has it worked for anyone else and will I start leaking again in the mornings? My biggest pet peeve is leaking and having to wear a bra to bed

I rented the hospital grade pump and also ordered a free wearable pump through my insurance. I ended up doing the spectra pump from the hospital to get me started and that got me into flow of easing into my wearable pump. I started to produce more through this process. Don’t get discouraged, you WILL produce what he needs. My supply started really low and I thought I needed formula. But I did have to pump, my baby would latch but I’m mainly pumping. I didn’t wear a bra at first at night and would just try to wear a tight enough shirt with breast pads, which would shift sometimes and I still would leak. But I ordered some really comfy nursing bras (game changer for me cause I hated wearing bras to bed as well) and that helped with nursing and pumping throughout the night along with breast pads. Also hydration !! You got this momma !
