Hi,
How long did it take your little ones to walk, were they walking before their first birthdays, or were they "late bloomers?" I tried not to let anyone negative comments bother me, but sometimes I get sad and worry. She's moving, and standing up all by herself, which is great, also taking small steps. What other activities are great ways to build her confidence? She has improved since her first birthday, and it makes me happy, I would always encourage her to walk instead of being picked up a lot.

My boy started walking using chair and couch support at 11 months and by himself at 13 months. You haven’t mentioned your girl’s age so i am not sure what to say. Though i have a niece who started independent walking at 16 months if that helps you so anywhere between 12-18 months is considered normal.

My kiddo is 16 months and still not walking on her own. The early intervention people said not to be alarmed until closer to 18 months and then they can reevaluate

My girl started walking at 13 months. I also know kids that didnt walk till 17 months.

My baby started taking first steps at 11 months by her birthday she was officially walking. Don’t know if her being at the 95th percentile has anything to with it. But honestly your baby is doing great still very normal for her not to walk yet. She is putting in the work right now with what she is already doing.

My oldest didn’t walk until 18 months…

My baby walked at 13 months exactly. She pretty much took a break from trying and focused on talking for a while 😆

My daughter just started walking at almost 17 months. The doctor said if she didn’t start walking by 18 months, she would have to do physical therapy

My son just started walking about a month ago alone and about two with help he was born 4/30/24
