Rash around c section scar
I’m not sure what to do as I don’t think my actual scar is infected but it can be pretty wet down by it and I’ve now developed this red rash thing. I do have a shelf as I’m a slightly bigger person but has this happened to anyone before? Don’t wanna have to book a doctors appointment if it’s something I can get rectified myself I’m 4 weeks pp

Could it be due to the heat maybe?
Maybe just try to air it out a bit for a couple of hours each day and see how you get on. But if it’s hot to touch or painful I would definitely contact your gp xx
I had this when we had heatwave few weeks ago when I was 2/3 weeks PP - I put mine down to heat rash kinda thing as it settled in a few days.
I just kept it dry as possible so air out when you can, each time I went to the toilet I dried it with big cotton pad and used a fan or cold hairdryer for 15 ish mins on it in the evening after a shower
I have this, it’s a sweat rash fungal infection.
I would ask your doctors for some steroid cream but alternately I have seen people say popping sudocream on also works!
