Hi mamas 💕
I’m starting 22 weeks today and still haven’t properly felt baby movements yet. A few days ago I thought I felt something but honestly can’t tell if it was baby or just me overthinking 😅
At my 20-week scan the sonographer said I have an anterior placenta, so it’s cushioning a lot. Baby looked super active on the scan, wriggling and kicking away, but since I don’t feel it daily I can’t help but worry a little.
This is my first pregnancy, so I have nothing to compare it to. Has this happened to you? When did you start feeling proper kicks or consistent movements with an anterior placenta?
Would love to hear your experiences 🫶

Hello, im the same. I get the odd pop feeling but not sure if its just wind haha. They did say a pop feeling is the baby but im not feeling much. Im the same stage as you 22 weeks xxxx

I had an anterior placenta with my 1st and could barely feel anything the whole way. By about 24 weeks I could feel very light flutters if I concentrated. And hiccups 😂 he was delivered healthy

When i was pregnant i couldn't feel any movement or kicks til around 28 weeks x

Waited soooooo long and Finally felt the first kick last night at 25 weeks.
Can’t describe the feeling though. Oh it feels so good! 🥹

is the kick was strong? Or bubbly feeling.

Have anterior placenta also felt kicks around 22 weeks just below the stomach … mostly feel her when I’m lying on my back for a min

I didn't feel kicks with my anterior placenta until a few days before I was 24 weeks, but I have felt them everyday since x

You will feel it more from the 28th week . Don't worry :)

Not only do I have an anterior placenta, I also am a larger size girl. My baby has been very active since day one but I didn't feel her until about week 30. I'm now 35 weeks+4 days and I feel her each and every day. 🥰

I didnt feel the first kick until 26-28 weeks. Im almost 31 weeks with anterior and i only feel him in the morning when i first wake up and not again until i lay down after dinner. Its very minor and i have to be really calm/quiet/relaxed to feel him during those times. I wish i felt him more but apparently this is the Anterior Placenta ways! (For peace of mind there are boutique places that you can pay around $40-90 for an ultrasound. We got a 4D one, it was awesome!)
