Anyone had an early scan for gender, then been different at 20 weeks scan? I wondered how common it is.

Any additional comments below like gender, were they wrong throughout ultrasounds etc..

This pregnancy went at 15 and 16 weeks and was told boy
At 20 weeks I was told girl
And I’ve had mixed answers with all my scan since ( I’ve had 11 since my 20 week )

I had a gender scan at 16 weeks and it was girl, at my 20 week scan they couldn't get a clear look and the same at my growth scans, although they weren't going to spend time looking for it since its not an essential part of the scan. Born a girl

Both my 16 week private scans were correct, but I’ve had two different friends do that at home blood test one and it be incorrect

I have but very rarely, my little one has always been in awkward position in scans they they never been 100% and when they said boy they wasn’t too sure if that was the cord or not
And nope we still not 100% on gender coz not every growth scan they check as that’s not the part the scan, the last scan we had baby looked girly, I’m due Friday and I’m in slow labour so I find out very soon 100% what we have
I’ve got 2 of each so far this baby no5 I’m not fussed on gender really just scared of a carrying a boy pregnancy ( this pregnancy been amazing) coz I had serious complications in both my boy pregnancies where the girls I didn’t, my last pregnancy ( boy pregnancy) I nearly died both in labour and pregnancy x

was the home blood test sneak peak? They very know to give wrong results

Avatar

Yep, sneak peek! Always tell people not to do that one - like even if they refund you bc they were wrong imagine thinking you were having one gender then it being wrong..

I know it’s such a con personally I used them twice and both wrong said boy and I had both my girls 🤦‍♀️🫠

I had a scan at 16 weeks and was told I was having a girl. 4 weeks and one gender reveal party later we discovered that we were actually having a boy.

I know the little cheeky monkey give the sonographers run for their money
My 12 and 20 week scan u had to have rescans coz they couldn’t get what they needed
My gender scan ( private ) I had to go back a week later, at my growths scans instead of being in 15 mins in there 30 ish mins as baby’s being awkward it’s nice tho having longer/ more scans oh it definitely was scary I knew I wanted no5 just so I could try and get a healing pregnancy/labour and so far I have but I still won’t switch off until baby’s here but i don’t have long left until baby’s here
It was definitely scary nearly losing my life and my oldest 3 were nearly 3 nearly 2 and 10/11 months when it was all happening and to find out if my hospital took me seriously it could of been prevent or atleast managed to not get as bad as it did, i definitely do have anxiety and thank u so much 🙏❤️xx

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
