I know this probably sounds like a silly question but I’m just curious. Does your five-year-old still cry?? and I don’t mean just normal crying like of course they still cry they’re human.
My five-year-old still open mouth as wide as he can throw his head back and cries like he did when he was one and two years old. I don’t know it just looks like a baby cry and I’m just wondering do they grow out of that or is that just the way he cries?
I know it sounds like a crazy question, but I’m just curious like when your child cries is it more like a silent cry is it a tantrum cry? Does your 5 yr old still cry the same way that they cried when they were babies?
Will his cry change from a baby cry(head back mouth wide open crying) to a more mature cry ? Lol

I’ve wondered the same thing many times lol! I think it really depends on the child’s temperament. My 5 y/o still has her dramatic, tantrum-style cries. They’re less frequent as she gets older, but they’re definitely in the same manner as when she was a toddler. Things that can set her off include sudden transitions, feeling left out, and feeling rushed, so we try to keep things consistent and have daily mommy/daddy-daughter time.
If it’s concerning, or there are other behavioral concerns, you could always check in with his pediatrician. But rest assured—he’s not the only one!
