Siblings

My son is 5 and 1/2 months old, also delivered via unplanned C-section. I just had a call with my reproductive endocrinologist earlier today to talk about the possibilities of doing another egg retrieval, but if I have another child it would not be until my son is out of daycare and into the public schools (hopefully I can get him into one of the public preschool programs when he's 3)

Replying to your reply to my first comment: I'm not in a position to homeschool because I have a full-time job and I am taking part-time classes - I also really like the socialization that my son gets at his daycare though, and I appreciate having another couple sets of eyes on his development to make sure everything is progressing normally since there isn't another parent in the picture. Daycare is super expensive though, which is why financially I would not be able to have another child until my first is in school. And I'm honestly not sure if that would happen because I'm already 40 years old and not sure if I would have the energy for two when I'm 45
