Xonvea
Hey guys
Just started on Xonvea, originally tried cyclizine and it was awful for me, made me feel completely out of it, a very weird sensation and I wouldn’t even say it got rid of the nausea.
How long did xonvea take to kick in for people
Who were/are on it.
I’m taking two at night and from tomorrow I can take one in the morning too. I’m off work now as I’m that nausea so just praying for a miracle!

Xonvea worked well for me when my nausea wasn’t too bad (I had hyperemisis) but ondansetron worked best for me
Some other tips for nausea:
- once u can take xonvea in the morning try and put something in your mouth before u even put your head up in the morning such as a cracker / breadstick then take your xonvea immediately
- if water is making u feel sick make sure its really cold and add a bit of squash in it or drink sparkling water (this is all I could drink) also add electrolytes
- if u develop any heart burn this can also worsen nausea take rennies - gavescon made me feel more sick
- just eat anything that u can stomach dont worry too much about nutrtition eating something is better than nothing
- if you’re able to try acupuncture or massages every so often this gave me some relief from the nausea and helped me to relax even if it’s just for a short while
- talk to people about how you’re feeling, nausea is awful dont feel like you need to down play it!
