My toddler keeps spitting her juice/water out. She’s also becoming very picky and does the same with most of the foods she eats. Even the ones she likes. How do I getter to stop. She will take a bite or sip spit it out and then cry for more.

That’s where my daughter is too. I think it’s just having the ability to choose now. She ate a beet today for the first time, spit it out then wanted to eat it. I just have patience and know this is a phase she will grow out of. My son - her twin - will literally eat anything with no issues. Same with the sippy cups.

I learned that spitting out their juice/water is a cause and effect thing. “What happens if I do this?” Mine luckily stopped doing it as much. Mine stopped eating foods she liked too, I think it’s pretty normal. I think their tastebuds change.

Same is happening with my daughter. She has a sippy cup and she drinks and spills it out. I just bought the 8oz water bottles and she stopped i dont know if it works yet ill probably give it a week

Sooooo baby boy did this with water, so we started putting flavoring in his water or fruits that gave him a different taste. Also, I realized that sometimes, when it does it, he is running his own research and analysis 🤣🤣 sometimes he likes the sensory of it. He watches what or reactions are to him doing it and so on. Just be patient and try to see if there is something that keeps them hydrated, but it isn't too bad for them that they will drink.
Good luck and remember to breathe cause they can indeed be very opinionated.
