Hi ladies!
My little one has got his 1 year jabs tomorrow after being poorly... I'm so nervous for them as he's obviously so much more aware. My partner was supposed to be coming with me for these ones, but now can't.
Any tips? Did you give calpol before or after? Just a case of trying to distract him? The other vaccinations feels forever ago! I just remember blubbering 😂🙆🏻♀️ I know I'm being silly and overthinking...Sorry! 😅

I would be prepared for a day of cuddles my little one has been a koala today and needed lots of cuddles 🥰 🐨

I gave calpol at the doctors just before the appointment just in case, but she actually didn’t have a fever or anything after. She was a bit grumpy but apparently they can get their fever, rash etc any time within 2 weeks after the jabs as it takes a while for the vaccine to ‘kick in’.
As for the actual jabs itself it took me a lot longer to calm her down after them, she was really really upset and screamed the doctors down, but by the time she was in the car on the way home she had forgotten about it. But definitely took longer than the jabs when they were tiny! ❤️good luck mama and little one ❤️

Hi, I took my little boy 10 days ago now and he was poorly pretty much within the first few hours. He had a high temperature for two days which we kept down with paracetamol so I’d hold off on the paracetamol until you actually need it as we needed it around the clock. After two days, he was absolutely fine. And he hasn’t been poorly since fingers crossed. He’s come up in a few spots the last couple of days but he’s well in himself. But every child is different xx
Thank you so much ladies! I really appreciate it! 🙂
Did you find your little ones wanted to sleep more during the day afterwards?
