Reassurance needed! Xx

Hiya. Looking for reassurance please from a worrier 😅 I’m 6 weeks pp and for the last week ish I’ve got an achey pain in the middle of my chest and feeling a little breathless sometimes and getting quite a few dizzy spells too! My iron was quite low when pregnant and I lost a fair bit of blood during my section.
Has anyone else had these symptoms? Does it sound like low iron/anemia?
An awaiting a blood test xx

I had all of these symptoms and found on here that lot's of other people also had the breastbone pain but I'm still not exactly sure what it is. The dizziness is completely normal too and very common, I researched and was also told it's post partum vertigo caused by the sudden fluctuation in hormones, I still have them every now and then 6 months pp

Iv had this for around 4 months on off and was getting worried but now it’s easing and I’m 6 months pp

I had that too! Mine did turn out to be low iron, I also had to have the tablets during pregnancy and lost a lot of blood during my section so hopefully yours is similar

The chest pain could be anxiety due to worrying x

5.5 weeks pp (section) and dizzy as heck! 😵‍💫 I don't feel too concerned about it myself because it seems to be really common. I did have some chest ache the other day which I chalked up to being anxiety about the dizziness (mental health worker here - so I tend to default to mental health explanations 😋) and it hasn't come back since.

I think chest pain is always worth having checked out, but these do seem to be common experiences xx hoping you're okee!!

Peppermint tea and peppermint water can sometimes help relieve breast bone pain, high shoulder/abdominal pain after a section. But you're doing the right thing getting checked out! Xxx
