I have a feverish baby since yesterday. We've been giving her Tylenol as needed and extra nursing and naps.
But I also have my mom and MIL telling me that teething can cause fevers and the entire internet telling me that that is a myth. Meanwhile, my baby is feverish and chewing hard on all her teether and even her binkies but no teeth emerging yet.

Definitely could be teething

I would call your pediatrician and ask (mine has an after hours on-call nurse). If she is teething, mine told me to soak a sterile rag in just water and freeze it for 12 minutes and give to baby, it should help relieve their pain.

My first baby got a fever every tooth she’s almost 3 now. It’s not myth it does happen for some kids.

Frozen breastmilk pops are really helpful too

Bring her to the pediatrician. You can never be to careful with infants. Better to be overly cautious than not cautious enough.
