Early sign (that I missed) telling that it was nearing was how my stomach dropped/started feeling very heavy about 1.5 weeks before birth. My water broke the morning of so that was very telling. I don’t think there were really any other signs for me.

how far along were you when u gave birth

It was at exactly 36 weeks!

My body cleared itself out fully a couple days before I had nothing left to poop lol. My waters never break though they have to break it for me when baby’s head is nearly emerging

I lost a tiny bit of mucus plug Monday night... and Tuesday night the contractions started. That was it. No other signs beforehand and I was shocked tbh because I was so comfy ftm and was only 39+6. Waters didn't break until I was around 9cm and I fairly sure the midwife did it by accident when checking my cervix 😂

Lost loads of my mucus plug about 3-4 days before. Then one evening I started to get some dull lower back pain and within a couple of hours contractions started

I legit didn’t know I was in labor normally ppl have contractions around their stomach and mine was very sharp painful back pain instead which should’ve been a forewarning that I was gonna have back labor

My braxton hicks at 2 in the morning, then got up for a wee and to let my dog out. Waters broke as I was letting dog out and I thought id wet myself even though id just been 🤣 baby was born later that day

Lower back pains that wouldnt go away even by walking. I also nested like hell the week before whilst having a good clearout 💩

My water broke. Plus I felt stuffed . Like not full but my whole body was swollen

Pretty much nothing it was just oop that was a contraction then I was at the hospital having a baby. My water didn’t even break until I was pushing lol
