Hi mums,
My baby is nearly 13weeks and hasn’t pooped in three days. He’s eating and drinking okay- seems happy and comfortable. I’ve called GP and they’ve said to give him a few more days.
Is there anything that speeds up the process apart from cycle legs as I’m worried he might start getting uncomfortable soon and would rather prevent it x

Our 17 week old baby girl has just gone through 3 lots of 3/4days of not pooping. She was happy in herself, feeding well and having plenty of wet nappies. We just do lots of her sitting up in our laps with our feet on the sofa and that seems to help get things moving for her. Today was day 4 for her and shes done 2 big poops so things are moving again x

My baby only goes twice a week but then makes up for it and does about 3 poos in one day health visitor said every baby is different, a bath seems to work well and laying her flat so she can kick her legs.

If you’re breastfeeding I was told to make sure you’re drinking plenty of liquids yourself to make sure they are kept hydrated. I’m sure this would help as being dehydrated leads to constipation if adults so makes sense

Lactulose! we gave our LO 2.5ml morning and night. It's just sugar water you can get it from Boots if you're comfortable doing so, if not then just check in with your GP about it
There's also Fridi Windi you can get in boots which stimulated our LO to go!!Hoping LO goes soon!
