Christmas as a blended family

So this is our first christmas with our little one as a blended family. The other kids all believe in santa, i know my little one will only be 8 months old but should I still do a christmas eve box? My OH says he’s too small to understand and am i being selfish making him have one as i feel like he’s missing out? Any advice please help

If the other kids are all getting Christmas Eve boxes then I would, it's important for them also. The excitement of getting to share the experience with there new baby sibling. Also it may be their childhood but it's also your motherhood so do what makes you happy. X

My little one is gonna be 6 months old and we’re doing him one, my stepdaughter still believes in Santa so she’s really excited for them both to have a Christmas Eve box, I don’t think you would be selfish atall. We’re just putting pjs, book etc in his x

Definitely make one! Xmas socks, jarmies and finger puppets, xmas book, a "My first xmas" bauble/decoration etc! Its memories for you not just your baby! Xx

I put some matching pyjamas for my daughter and stepdaughter in my stepdaughters box, that way they were both included but it wasn’t over the top! x

Even if there was no other children if you wanted to do it just do it! They may not remember or understand but they’re your memories too! Absolutely make him one!!

I had done one for my son last year and he was 9 months, it was just teething toys Christmas pjs some baby snacks reindeer dust and silly little things. My step kids were 9 and 7 so they still believe and we bring them up where they are all equal, Santa wouldnt leave one out and it’s was some thing nice to do to settle them all down together with the excitement of Christmas
