I’m getting induced with my second on Saturday… I was also induced with my first and think I took about 33 hours or so… I didn’t have a terrible experience but honestly happy to be induced!

I was induced with my first and it only took 10ish hours. At the time I was barely 1 centimeter dilated, given the meds at 10pm and had her by 830 the next morning. I think it just depends on how your body responds. If you are anxious going into it, your body may not feel safe to progress. Trying to relax and giving into the process should help it go faster. Especially since it is your second your body knows what to do now even better so I don’t think it’ll take as long. You go this! Good luck!

My first my induction took 36 hours with 5.5 hours of pushing and then a csection since he was asinclytic.

Second I was 0cm dilated and 0% effaced at 41 weeks. It took less than 9 hours from stepping foot in the hospital to have her.

I’ve been induced twice and they both took less than 10hrs. I’ll be induced again with my 3rd.
