Universal credit while on mat leave

I’m going on maternity leave in November and as well as child benefit I’ve heard that I can apply for universal credit aswell. I just can’t find any solid information about how much extra income I could get from it (if any), I work full time atm and do plan on coming back after my leave, but I am only eligible for maternity allowance as I haven’t worked at my workplace for long enough, is anyone comfortable giving me a bit of info on how much extra income they got from universal credit after working full time and living with a partner who also works full time?

I didn’t get mat allowance as I’d worked with my employer for a long time, but I’m pretty sure mat allowance works £ for £, so they would deduct any money would was allowed from mat allowance as it’s classed as another benefit.

Apply for a healthy start card maybe once your mat leave kicks in, and join a UC group on Facebook they might be able to help, they’re really good actually! Just join and make a post explaining your circumstances such as if you rent etc and they’ll do a breakdown for you x

There were 3 calculators I used on the government website - they all matched so I trust each on is pretty accurate x

My partner isn’t quite full time (30 hours a week) but brings home roughly £1500 a month. I’m entitled to SMP and will be getting more income through shared parental leave as I’m a teacher - however, on a month where I get £187 a week (SMP) and my partner gets £1500 UC will top up my wage by about an extra £1000. This is because I will have 2 children and live in a 2 bed house with my partner. Lots of factors change how much you’re entitled too

Me and my partner both work full time. They'll take your claim as a joint claim so his wages afffect your pay. My pay depends on his wage every month. I applied but had to wait until I went to smp, on months he gets £1300 I usually get about £150 from uc. Although they look like they do this so begrudgingly 🤣 I'm going back to work this week so thankfully back on a full wage and no more uc x

If your partner works full time I doubt you would be entitled to much UC but everyone is different .. my husband works full time and I got £0 from them while on mat leave, I would say just apply anyway and see x
