I hate video calls

Same. I never know where to look. Like, do I look at myself or the other person or people? 😅🤣

I use to until I had my daughter! She gets to get face time with her great grands and aunts and uncles that live so far away and her other grandparents that live not too far but far enough 😂😅 I hardly show my face I mainly just show my daughter on screen and she just giggles and babbles and crawls everywhere to show off her toys and to show them around the room 😂 I think I only show my face a little towards the end saying bye or if they request it but it’s for a short period

Because most the time I have my boobies out breastfeeding and am walking around the house half naked 😂

I have social anxiety. So ahead of time is nerve racking. Then after , I think, why was I nervous. This is a doc video call to go over labs. Im not worried about results , I just dont like the phone.

To be fair I don’t like calls in general as it is 😂 but video calls make me really uncomfortable, I never know where to look and when the conversation dries out it’s always more awkward than on the phone I think, but I do them a lot now since having Elena, because my family lives in another country so it’s the only way they can see each other often

I like video calls when I’m by myself. I hate it for my kids though. Because they don’t want to take turns, fight over the phone and throw my phone when so the other sibling won’t take it…then they don’t understand why the call ended when someone hangs up. They’re 1, 2 and 4 years old so the concept of sharing and taking turns is almost non existent. I try to encourage in person visits and conversations for family so that way we don’t have to go thru all that. But my MIL doesn’t really want to get with the program

I hate regular calls way more, I need to have something to keep my focus and see the nonverbal cues

I did the doc video call and couldn't wait til it was over and it was only 5 min and I like the doc. So shouldn't have been a big deal.

I do too. I don't like showing my face not because I'm fat just because I don't unless we have talked for a while
