Internal Ultrasound

Hi,
I have a low lying cervix and have my 32 week ultrasound tomorrow to see if it’s moved. They’ve suggested this may need to be an internal scan and I wondered if anyone has had experience of this as I’m a bit anxious! I suspect it will be internal as I had another ultrasound last week due to being in a car accident and she couldn’t see my placenta due to it being posterior and hidden behind baby to confirm if it had moved or not x

Yes I had one in my last pregnancy at 32 weeks because of a low lying placenta and I've got a worse low lying placenta again this time and I'm going for my ultrasound tomorrow too to see if it's moved as well as a growth scan.

It's nothing to worry about and it's fairly quick, 15 minutes max. Yes it is internal but it doesn't hurt. Last time thankfully it moved so it wasn't a problem anymore, this time I'm not so sure but we'll see. Good luck x

My last pregnancy I had IVF so I’ve had many many internal scans and it’s nothing to be worried about at all. It feels a bit odd maybe but doesn’t hurt, they will use plenty of lubrication etc. Just relax and try not to tense up and it will be fine. A smear test is way worse x

Ah thanks girls, I was worried it would be similar to a smear because they’re not the nicest things are they?! x

C - section

Hello lovelies, I’m getting closer to my date of c section.

Can I ask how it all went for you? I felt prepared and now I have this awful feeling what if I bleed out! I’m sure that’s not the case. But I just wondered how it went, and how the aftermath was. I have seen on social media people say it’s horrendous but then I speak to friends and family and they’re like yeah it’s not easy but you can cope! You can walk, etc. I think it’s the unknown… lol!

Also were you all sick during your procedure and did you all get terrible trapped gas? If so what tips do you have xx

Just want to sleep again! 🫩

I wake up around 8.30am, have some cereal, meditate/pray for a bit, make a cuppa and then by 10am I’m tired again and could easily nap. My iron levels have been checked and were fine. Is it just me or is anyone else feeling like this? I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant 👀

Can you see anything? I’m 12 DPO 🙏

My own opinion is that this is inconclusive (can maybe see a vvvfl but could also be an indent too hard to tell) but curious what others see

Princess birthday party

My child will be turning 5 over the summer and they’ve asked for a princess party but keep changing their mind on which princess they’d like to most their party so have said I can choose 🙈 which princess would your child have chosen at a similar age or if you’ve been to a few princess parties which one was best?

20 week scan!

I had my scan today! All was good, she was very stubborn though so it took ages to get all the measurements. No cleft lip from me being on Ondansetron for my sickness (I’m still unwell everyday).
However, I currently have a low lying placenta- has anyone had this before? I have to have another scan to check on it later on.

They asked if I knew what I was having and thankfully confirmed she is indeed a girly whirly.
I did ask for them at the end to show my husband the “burger” so he could visibly see no willy 😂

I’m so glad my 8 week blood test was right 🥳 a big 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻 to soooo many saying they’re a waste of money and not right so early on 😂 (not ladies in this group, but I’ve seen so many comments in other groups that are always so negative).
