Posterior cervix

Hi girlies, I’m over 41 week now and have induction booked for Wednesday. Went to see midwife and still have closed and posterior cervix which is quite disheartening to say the least. Is it even worth to go through induction or should I just go for c section?

I'm the same.. induction booked for tomorrow, from what I've been told it's not uncommon for cervix to stay posterior until well into established labour.. hoping for a positive induction experience but I'm very nervous. What ever you decide, good luck 🥰

One day my cervix was completely closed, the next day I gave birth. You’ve got another week until you’re overdue - I know it’s hard but don’t get disheartened. Most babies come naturally before 42 weeks.

20 week anatomy scan for baby girl today 🥰💕🌷

So grateful everything was perfect with little miss baby, she’s right on track around 20-21 weeks, can’t wait to meet my baby girl! 😇🌸🙏🏻

We have an Elsie and we nickname her “Elsa” like queen elsa from frozen

If we have a girl my husband would love a spin on “anna” without actually calling her Anna lol

What names are similar to Anna / could be a play on words?

How many of you had your c sections rescheduled?

So I'm choosing to have a c section this time around because I had an emergency c section after being induced last time. That was less than 2 years ago so I don't think it's a good idea to try again. I'm really nervous it's gonna be rescheduled bcs I have my sister taking time off work to help me out with the baby in the hospital since my husband will have to go home to be with our toddler at night. Also my husband starts his leave on that day so I don't want him to lose any more days. So I'm just wondering how common this is. I'm in the US in NJ
