Do you let your babies grandparents kiss them? Not on mouth but I’ve noticed my mother and father in law kiss him on the top of the head/side of face. I know when they are newborn RSV risks are very dangerous, they used to kiss their hand and then touch his head etc but recently I’ve noticed them kissing him and not sure how to feel.

Only my mum and only on his head and that’s because she’s more of a worrier about germs than me. One year she cancelled Xmas because I had a cold and she didn’t want to catch it 🥲

When they were newborn up to being about a month or 2 no one really tried to kiss either of mine because they were young tbf, but after that we didnt mind close family kissing hands etc my dad used to hold them up and kiss the back of their heads to spite my mum cos she'd tell him off for trying to smooch their faces 🤣 i think its good for their immune system tbh, as long as theyre not ill or gross trying to give kisses i dont mind the odd smooch from grandparents and close family, we've all been really ill for the past 2 weeks and my 8 month old only had a bit of a snotty nose for a couple of days 😂 I also have a toddler so theses no escaping bugs etc for us but she seems to have a better immune system than I do 😅 breastfed babies do get antibodies from milk which couldve helped with my two, so I think thats it's a judgement call for parents to decide if they want kissed or not cos all kids are different and have different immune systems etc, just ask people not to as theres loads of bugs going round x
