Nuby rapid cool and thermo flask set

Has anyone used this? Is it worth buying? With our first we used perfect prep machine and it made our boy have reflux so we stopped it and then realised it wasn’t recommended so want to do our research this time before using any products! Thanks

I'm using it for the second time with my newborn. Find it useful when out and about 😊 do you know why it's not recommended? My first born was fine with it xx

I recommend I have this set I think it’s brilliant especially if you baby will not wait for the bottle so quick and easy only issue is I find the thermo flask goes cool fast so I got a tommie tippie one that stays warm for 24h x

Which one are you using sorry the nubby set or the tommie tippie perfect prep?
With the tommie tippie our midwife said the hot shot wasn’t enough to kill bacteria and that also the fliters and stuff could have bacteria in them build up? X

I love the rapid cool! We used the hot shot method to save sterilising after every use.. Just bear in mind the nuby flask that comes with it only keeps water hot enough for 3 hours, I'd advise buying the rapid cool on its own and a better flask separately x

I highly rate the Nuby cool, I personally don’t like the hot water flask you can buy as don’t feel keeps warm enough so I have a Stanley flask. We do hot shot method with flask and works a treat .

I have a tommee tippee flask and the tommee tippee rapid cool, work fine for me personally :). I’ve got a prep machine as well but the flasks are handy to have when out and about for sure and home if needed. Cooling time is brill

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?
