Anyone else experienced going a few hours with no movement? I’ll be 25 weeks tomorrow and haven’t felt her move since about 3:00/4:00pm today. I know my placenta is posterior so I feel her often. I’m just worried. I tried poking around at my stomach and eating chocolate but she hasn’t moved.

probably just sleepin. i’ve went more than an hour without movement

Totally normal as long as you feel fetal movement baby should be fine but if you ever feel like baby hasn’t moved in 24hrs or not as often as usual definitely contact your doctor. Babies sleep in the womb and aren’t always active especially when mom is up and moving because it rocks them to sleep sometimes.

I have bought Doppler exactly for that reason as a first time anxious mom 🤭

My first baby only moved once I was laying down in bed st night , other then that he was pretty much still and sleep all day.

Mine mostly moves when I'm in the car or sitting down in a way that kind of squishes my belly 😂

Yes, now if it’s an excessive amount like 8hrs+ I would definitely tell your doctor especially if that’s unusual for you. With my first I barely felt movement and with my second she moves a lot more but still she’ll go hours without movement.

I would ask your OB. I’m 24 weeks and mines told me I should be feeling movement every hour or so.

Depending on where your placenta is to, you might not always feel them. I have a posterior placenta and they did warn me that I might not fully feel movement all the time and it’ll be at a later time too.
