My baby is 19weeks, and has been dropping centiles from 25% to now officially underweight (just below 2nd centile). She’s breastfed, and I have followed every advice on earth (hind milk, offer breasts more often etc) she’s just not interested in feeding and when she drinks she never finishes the full boob let alone move to the next one. My supply is all good in fact I have a lot of milk I just stock up the freezer.
Anyway we’re moving to formula after 10 weeks of persevering with breastfeeding.
Doc says she needs to be having at least 700ml. We have tried formula twice before and every time after two days we just go back to the boob because she’ll either not take it or drink 1oz in like 6 hours.
No underlying health issues. Went today for a blood draw and there was nothing to draw as she was not hydrated!
Any advice on how to help her have that 700ml in 24h because I am genuinely depressing over this.

This must be so worrying for you!Have you had her checked for tongue tie? We had issues with my eldest and he dropped weight quite rapidly in the first few weeks and it was due to a tongue tie that went undetected. Once that was sorted we managed to breastfeed for 15 months! Definitely worth checking.
You could maybe try feeding her with a syringe or with a spoon if she’s not interested in the bottle?
If worried then speak to your midwife and demand some more help!! I hope you get some answers ❤️
