Feed the baby

Ill be taking her to the doctors, but from peoples experience - does this sound like normal newborn reflux or a cows milk protein allergy? Almost 4 weeks old, born at 8lb 2 at 37 weeks via c section, neonatal jaundice for the first week so lost a bit of weight and currently weighing just over 9lb. Formula fed...

• sick after most bottles, sometimes a little, sometimes a lot
• is held upright for a good 30 - 40 minutes after each bottle, but is still sick after this time anyway
• sounds very congested still, especially when lying down and after shes been sick.
• arches back a lot after feeding and seems to be wincing a lot for a good while after feeds and she does this throughout the night too
• knees up to chest a lot throughout the day
• slight rash consistantly on neck and face, but looks more spotty than rashy? Developed more in the last 2 weeks as she wasnt born with it
• hard tummy after feeds

Hi all, sorry its a bit of a long one but any responses are greatly appreciated. I just have a couple questions about formula feeding. I hope to breastfeed and pump but I fully understand i might not be able to straight away or may have difficulties so I'd like to be prepared for every option. I will be mostly confined to my bedroom for space, I will not have much access to the kitchen so everything will be kept and stored in my room. Could someone please fully walk me through what I would need to make a bottle of formula 😂 I have made them for my friends kids before but she told me just to use cold tap water and the powder and as far as I'm aware this is not how bottles are made. So my main question is what setup would you recommend for somewhere that's not a kitchen for bottle making. (Kettle? Flasks? Water prep machine? Nuby?) If someone suggests the nuby please also explain how they work i can't get my head round it. The only thing I'll really be doing in the kitchen will be washing up his bottles :) Thank you for reading and sorry if i sound completely stupid just trying to really get a grasp on what I need to plan for and buy 😂😅

Hi all, how are you managing your first feed of the day? Do you get up, het LO changed dressed and wait for them to ask for a feed? Or are you giving them a feed upon waking. I was doing the latter, often offering it at 7 to help keep naps/feeds roughly the same time each day but as my LO still wakes in the night to feed, she doesn't seem hungry at that time and often has only half the bottle. This used to be fine until her next feed window but the last few days she's been hungry an hour after that first feed. Shall I just wait until she asks instead of giving her one as soon as she wakes up?

Looking to change LO formula as she is currently on kendamil but is too rich for her and making her sick.

Any suggestions?

My 12 day old all of a sudden seems to have lots of trapped gas, especially after every feed making loud grunting noises and not relaxing. We are struggling to burp her during and after the feeds and tried lots of positions. Its making her really uncomfortable to sleep and I just feel awful because I want to relieve it - she doesnt spit up but does gulp her bottle quite fast so we are trying to pace feed but maybe she is getting too much air? Using mam bottles for reference but does anyone have any other ideas? Also how much time can I spend moving her legs around, conicous she is so little and dont want to irritate her belly even more
