Hi all, how are you managing your first feed of the day? Do you get up, het LO changed dressed and wait for them to ask for a feed? Or are you giving them a feed upon waking. I was doing the latter, often offering it at 7 to help keep naps/feeds roughly the same time each day but as my LO still wakes in the night to feed, she doesn't seem hungry at that time and often has only half the bottle.
This used to be fine until her next feed window but the last few days she's been hungry an hour after that first feed. Shall I just wait until she asks instead of giving her one as soon as she wakes up?

As I have a toddler too I tend to get everyone ready and then head downstairs to feed and that’s usually 45 mins after we’ve woken up. By then she is actually hungry whereas upon waking she is too curious about what’s happening. Don’t get me wrong by the time she is fed she’s very hungry but rather this than her only taking a few ounces of that first feed which is what was happening when feeding upon waking.
