Help I’m having trouble with what foods to give my 13 month old. He is usually such a good eater but has turned really fussy lately. I had been giving him pouches and the ready made meals for convenience but he has now been having a few bites of these and refusing them, is this just something that they go through at this age? Or is he bored of what I’m giving him. I need meal ideas which are cheap and quick to do as I have 2 under 2

i’ve been feeding my son the same things that I eat unless it’s really too heavily seasoned. If not then I separate before adding like seasoning to it. But I know some of these ready-made meals do not have any seasoning so I will try and add something to it up to them to give more flavor. But chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, fries, rice, pizza etc. if you’re concerned about him getting his vitamins, then I would suggest introducing a liquid vitamin into his morning bottle if you still give that to him.

I just feed my daughter whatever were eating. Occasionally ill give her pasta thats make with chickpeas and lentils to increase her protein intake. Personally I cant be bothered to make her special food.
I make batches of muffins and keep them in the freezer and pull one out to share...oat and date bars...leftovers from the week...I grab individual guacamole and hummus containers from Costco so its easy to take on the go.
I read a study done by the BBC about pouches and how they basically have zero nutrients in them and are sold as essentially a meal replacement but they cannot be used as one...a snack at best but thats it. Id consider looking into it if thats what youre relying on!

I realized my boy doesn’t want to eat unless I’m eating with him. Maybe that’s a factor?
