Good experience in which hospital?

I would like to know which hospital you recommend to give birth in Hertfordshire (Watford general hospital, Northwick hospital, Barnet hospital), any other hospital where maternity and childcare is good?

Watford general didn't monitor my baby when they were supposed to. Midwife abandoned me 8 hours till shift change. Traumatized from it. Avoid 23 year old midwife called Victoria she is evil!!

Hello Aqsa. I am sorry you have been gone through this. Thank you very much for your reply. I will avoid her as soon as I hear her name. I wanted to go back to Barnet like my first one. I had a really good experience, but I live a bit more far away now.

Honestly its worth the travel! The tean at wfG well superiors were super super cold. I even explained to Victoria i had severe ptsd from a previous pregnancy and instead of empathy she chose to be cruel - one of the first things she said to me was “o im not happy till youre screaming in pain” - i was silently laboring. Scariest thing ever! She even blew one of my veins after i screamed throughout the whole canular being put in she still flushed it leaving my arm black and blue for weeks. Whatever you do ask for an experienced midwife.

i really want another baby

i am merely a few months pp but i want another baby, but i am scared of the age gap (2 under 2) and also with everything going on in the world i just think its not the best idea at the moment but i am having crazy baby fever and miss having a newborn🥹

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Has anyone ever had pain in the bone at the bottom of the lady area?

How I can only describe it is I feel like I have a fracture or the bone is broken right at the bottom of my vagina bone obviously don’t think it’s to the extent but that’s how it feels. I had it in my last pregnancy and the pain went few months postpartum now it’s back again with this pregnancy. These are the results that u e googled I think I may have the first one has anyone every had this or something similar

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

20week scan!!

i had my 20week scan yesterday, everything looked okay on baby and we found out the gender!! it’s a girl 🩷🩷. but they said that my placenta is too close to my pelvis and they need to do extra scans to check on it? has anyone else been told this?
