C section scar check!
Hey ladies, I am a week PP how is my incision looking? I’m letting water from shower trickle down it then patting dry and using cool hair dryer setting. Did put a sanitary towel over it this eve to get any excessive moisture didn’t see any puss but the sanitary towel didn’t smell nice.🥴
I’m unsure if it’s opening a little too where I’ve put the arrow on the piccy.
I must add I do have terrible health anxiety😮💨

Looks fine!
You are keeping it clean and dry, no smells or leaks. No angry redness or signs of infection. Your bruising is really good too, you might get some more bruises this week as internal surgery bruises work to the surface and take time to come up but you also may not.
You can always use a clean steristrip to add support to that wound area if you have worries, just to encourage it to stay flush but it honestly looks normal and healthy.
That sticky bandage residue is such a pain in the bum but it’s fine to leave on till it comes off. Don’t rub it excessively but you can wipe over it with water.
Looks great to me! Just keep a close eye on the part you have marked, and if you’re concerned, check with your GP or if I remember rightly you’re still able to use your triage for a few weeks after, they can help too.
