My baby has had eczema since birth like his sister did. His shoulder patch was almost all gone but then got infected and we got a topical prescription but it just stays wet and never heals! I went through all lotions until tubby Todd seemed to work and now his skin is just sooo dry even when I do it 2-3 times a day! I limits baths because of the hard water and we use oats. He doesn’t cry or squirm in pain but I feel awful seeing his skin like this what else can I do?

I’m from the UK and here we can find something called zinc paste/cream, this has helped my son with his very bad wet eczema
Are you able to get that in America? I got it from a company called Drought secret which has been amazing, please look into their story when you get the chance & maybe see if they ship to Texas (their daughter had severe eczema)
Also, have you tried different steroids? We finally got seen by a dermatologist who gave him different steroids to what the doctors were giving him, she gave him specific ones for specific areas & this has taken away his cracked, wet open eczema
We also use a thick ointment now called hydromol

Bleach baths , they worked amazing for my son. I had a mom friend that used wet wrapping because she told me that worked best on her son. Also try fragrance free products. No lotions or soaps or fabric softeners that helps my little guy
