Where to start in my spiritual journey?
I’m so lost of where to start in my journey. I do have a problem with reading and writing im just nervous I won’t understand anything. Any advice.

Hey! I recommend the youversion bible app. I follow the Bible recap plan with Tara Leigh cobble. It goes through the entire bible in 365 days.
To me the commitment to everyday was super overwhelming and I’d get stressed when I got behind. Now I just ignore the dates and go through as I can, wont be accomplished in a year but that’s okay!
I love the Bible recap plan because she does videos that recap what you just read. Some of the Bible is just confusing but she really puts it into perspective. I also just set it to audio so I can clean it do other things while I listen to the scripture.
There’s no wrong way to begin! Most important thing is to pray and carve out quality time with Jesus. ❤️
Start slow. It’s normal and okay to not understand the Bible at first. It’s a collections of books from different times, authors, styles of writing, context etc…
Start with prayer (Matthew 6 teaches you how to) and talk to Yahweh about starting a relationship with Him.
Read your Bible. You can choose a book (like the gospel of John) read one chapter a day or a passage (couple of verses) at a time and go from there. The Bible is meant to be studied so it’s okay if you don’t get it at first. Pray before you study the word and ask Yahweh to give you understanding.
Get a Bible translation you can understand, that’s often where people have difficulty understanding. AMP version, ESV version are beginner friendly. NASB & NKJV are also really good, highly recommend those 2. Start with one of them.
Join a community! You’ll learn so much faster and be more encouraged with community. Like a church or online Bible study. There are also Christian pods on here who are great and encouraging

Just start! With an open and willing heart to want to know God through His Word. Holy Spirt will guide you. & don’t get weary in well doing, exercise patience and God will give you the understanding that you need to grow in Him🙏🏽
