Faith-Based SAHM & Homeschool Mamas

I seriously would love to know how people are affording to be a SAHM? I have a son and am pregnant with my second child. I work full time from home and take care of my son. But it’s a lot! I would love to become a SAHM and fully just take care of my babies. But in this economy, it is scary to think we would be losing a whole income. What are some things you guys do to afford life? We want to buy a house next year. But a house in a decent area with a good amount of space. Is like over 2k a month, not to mention other bills.

I’m so lost of where to start in my journey. I do have a problem with reading and writing im just nervous I won’t understand anything. Any advice.

Hey ladies, I'm in need of serious prayers. On October 27th, my youngest went in for his 4 month checkup..his pediatrician was concerned about how quickly his head was growing. Fast forward to friday we had a head ultrasound done and they found a mass in the middle of his brain that was blocking his cerebral fluid from flowing. We are currently at a children's hospital waiting on results of an MRI. Im so scared and I know hes in God's hands but my family and I could still use all the prayers we can get. Hes my baby and I just need him to be okay

The guilt and shame of our mistakes can feel impossible to escape. We replay them over and over in our minds, whispering to ourselves, “I am not worthy.”

Oh but you are. He made sure of that. The enemy wants you to believe you’re still defined by your past, but Yeshua already carried it all to the cross.

“He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds, you have been healed.” — 1 Peter 2:24

You are no longer unworthy. You are forgiven, redeemed, and loved. The shame that once chained you has already been broken. All that’s left is to walk in the freedom He paid for.

After experiencing a tremendous amount of loss, my husband and I finally have our sticky baby! We just found out after genetic testing that we’re expecting a little baby girl! This will be our first child that’s brought earth side. I’m trying to build up a community around me as we’re going to be moving soon to South Carolina. It’s all right if you don’t live around the area at all I’m just looking for friends!

I am 25 years old and I love crafting; painting and sewing are my favorite. And I love the outdoors, I like going on day trips to an area to hike or sometimes I’ll plan a backpacking trip! One of the things I’m really looking forward to doing is hiking with my baby and being able to go camping with them. (my parents camped with me and rock climbed with me when I was under a year old and I really want to continue the tradition.)

I plan on homeschooling our children K-12 I don’t know if it’s too early to be joining this group and trying to make friends. But I thought I would give it a try! God bless 💕
