We use Calpol for our boy but he’s really teething with his molars coming in, just wondered if anyone finds nurofen to work better? Apologies if this is a silly question and they are both the exact same

I’ve heard nurofen is better because it’s also anti inflammatory. It’s ibuprofen not paracetamol.
We tend to alternate.

You can use both at the same time. Following the dosage for each.
When it’s really bad you can alternate so calpol at say 10, Nuro at 12, calpol again at 2 etc so they’re getting topped up if you find he’s bad close to needing the next dose

I found that calpol didn’t do much when he’s teething so now just use nurofen!

Nurofen works so much better than calpol for my toddler.

My LOs molars were bothering her last week, I think they're just about to come through the gum. I used calpol for 2 nights but it didn't make any difference, so switched to nurofen and it was a game changer! She only needed it on a night but it was like it stopped the pain completely for her!

We alternate them. But always nurofen before bed!

I was told that Calpol works better for fever and Nurofen for pain

Calpol does nothing for our girl, especially when it comes to pain or fevers. Calpol never brings her temp down whereas nurofen brings it down instantly
