6 month old (4 corrected) only 10.2 lbs

My 6 month old was born 2 months early. This was my second and the pregnancy was tougher than my first. I had preclamsia and gestational diabetes. Baby stopped growing at one point and slowly started again. It got to the point of having ultrasounds weekly to every second day, to daily, to determine when a cesarean should be scheduled. Also, I had a homecare nurse visiting or calling each day to check blood pressure/baby’s movements etc.
We had to prepare each day not knowing whether that would be the day baby would arrive and wondered if he would survive.

To say this pregnancy was monitored very closely would be an understatement! For my first pregnancy I had “extreme” preclamsia and my first arrived at 26 weeks. My old OBGYN missed a lot of signs and even told me it is highly unlikely, this would happen to me again… sure enough, it happened again, but my new OBGYN was amazing… she listened, took everything seriously, as she should, and helped to get me as far along as we could for my second pregnancy.

My first baby “caught up” by 9 months (6 months corrected). My concern is that my second baby is 6 months (4 corrected) and only 10lbs. Our pedaetrician isn’t concerned as baby has grown from 3.03lbs at birth to 10.2 lbs. He drinks his milk well, 4-5oz every 3-4 hours. He has a midnight feed and then, sleeps until 6am. We also add enfacare to his formula for extra calories… I just feel like he’s not growing as much as he should.
