Has anyone had any experience changing milk from Aptamil Comfort to Aptamil Reflux? He's now coming out of the colicky stage but bringing up milk after feeding. Does Aptamil Reflux work? Dont really want to try gaviscon as many people say it causes constipation, and my LO already suffers with that pretty badly.

I recommend trying a completely different formula! We were the same on Aptamil, the issue is Aptamil, cow and gate HIPP etc all have the same skimmed milk powder base, use fish oils, fermented dairy and soy emulsifiers, all of which can cause constipation and reflux as well as wind in infants, we switched to Kendamil with carobel thickener and have a different baby!! Kendamil is whole milk based and has none of the above so is actually different for their digestion!
Hope this helps x

Our baby just started rejecting aptamil, didn’t matter if it was warm, cold, room temp, ready to feed or powdered. It also made her quite sicky, we’ve changed to kendamil and she’s a much happier baby on it, still spits up occasionally but didn’t seem to get the belly pain she did from aptamil and her poos have been so normal no constipation on kendamil so far!
Oh wow, thank you so much! Think I'll give Kendamil a go. Is it the normal one you are all using?

Maybe also try the kendamil drops. We found just switching to premade was better because it's slightly thicker than powdered. They should start growing out of reflux around 4-6months.

We have been using cow & gate comfort and have just weaned her back onto the normal one. She was being sick alot and also bringing up clear fluid. We thought we'd try it just to see if it was a case of her gut has now matured a bit. She's been on it about a week now and much less sick, hardly any watery sick and isn't uncomfortable when she poos (this was the main reason we put her on comfort, she would cry in pain trying to poo) x
