CMPA peti 1 Vs kendamill goat milk

Baby was on kendamill organic, suffered with colic and constipation... then went onto kendamill comfort. Suffered with white lumps in her poo. Shes been on pepti 1 for 10 days now, her skin is horrendous since being on it. Doctors are useless . Cant get hold of HV ...

Wondering with goats milk being less protein whether to try.

Im putting her back on kendamill organic now, and will have to cope with constipation

My LB was on Kendall goat first, he reacted the same was he did to all other cows milk formulas. We’re on pepti 2 and he’s much better on that - he was 6 months when diagnosed so never tried pepti 1. May be worth asking the GP to try an amino acid formula x

Goats and cows milk are very very similar in protein so the reaction will just be the same again. Try an amino acid based formula however doctors might not give it until you’ve been on Pepti 1 for at least 2-4 weeks.

It’s also not good to be changing babies formula so much as they should be on any new milk for a minimum of 4-6 weeks to allow their body and digestive system to get used to it. How old is baby?x
