Labels for clothes etc

I have these which wash well and I stick on clothes as well as other items.

I have name tags, there are amazing, I would highly recommend as you can remove them and re use

Expensive at first but I've had mine years as I remove from coats etc when we size up

I use these, they have cute designs and last really well, but can also be removed if you want to pass on/sell

Honestly, I just find the best thing. It’s a sharpie on the label.

You can find stick on labels with nice designs on ebay for really cheap, you can have with or without a design, different colours. I have some for shoes too and it doesn't go away in the wash, you can remove to sell the clothes on Vinted or donate.

For socks, I use, at the bottom, fabric paint that becomes sticky to make them not slippery, I usually make my own designs (waves, circles etc...) so they know there are mine or you can write your kid initials

I use the stick on labels from Amazon (similar to those above) and they have held up so well! Even through washing and tumble drying. Have stayed stuck and haven't lost any colour or anything
