How often are we feeding at 2 months
Hi guys, my daughter is EBF and is turning 8 weeks tomorrow and I’m wondering how often are we feeding and how long does a feed last approx?
I’ve been tracking on Huckleberry and she nurses about 9 times a day for 30 min but no consistent routine yet. Curious to find out how others are doing?

I’m not tracking, but at 7 weeks and I’d say every 1.5-2 hours, same through the night
On a different app (Baby Time) but averaging 15 breastfeeds a day, 6 mins average feed time. He’s 8 weeks today. Average total nurse time is 1 hour 34 mins. I’d be interested to hear what other people say!
Just to add some context I have a toddler who is pretty distracting this time around so I think I’m doing shorter feeds. But I am also sure I have very fast let down and possibly an over supply. He is gulping it down. He gets pretty fussy at the boob and strains sometimes.
My 8 week old feeds every 30 minutes during her wake window which can be up to 2 hours sometimes. She sleeps max 2.5 hours depending on how full she is. Shes usually on the boob for up to 20 minutes but my milk isnt constantly flowing so she maybe actively drinks for 10 minutes max
I usually feed every 3 hours sometimes more if he sleeps longer or if we are out. But I breastfeed as well as bottle feed. Which combined, takes us like an hour. Usually they say at this age they should breastfeed for about 10 minutes give or take, per breast. But it really does depend on your flow and their suction too. I would say follow your babies cues as everyone's baby is different x
My almost 8 week boy eats roughly every 3hrs during the day and we get one 6-7hr stretch at night, so 7 feeds per 24hrs. Usually last just over 30mins, 20ish mins on one side and a top up on the other
My LB is 6 Weeks today and has about 6/7 feeds in a 24hr period. He goes about 3-4hrs in between feeds and a longer stretch over night of 5-7hrs. He will feed for about 20-30 minutes total, that's about 10-15 minutes on each boob. Don't really track it but an approximate/average day for us would look something like the below. This does vary depending on wake up time for the day and it is not uncommon to have at least one 4hr stretch, this tends to be after the 1st or 2nd feed so when we do have a 4hr stretch, this will tend to be a day with 6 feeds
1st Feed - 7:30am
2nd Feed - 10:30am
3rd Feed - 1:30pm
4th Feed - 4:30pm
5th Feed - 7:30pm
6th Feed - 10:00pm
7th Feed - 4:00am
My little one is 6 weeks old and my huckleberry stats look very similar to yours
