Toddler said F word 🫣

Ignore it. The bigger deal you make about it the more fun it becomes to them!

My son said "sh!t, it's cold". Deffo heard it from me unfortunately but I ignored him and he has seemed to forget about it

Bad mum here, my son has swore God knows how many times 🤦🏻‍♀️. Me and husband have potty mouths so it does slip out around him and obviously hes a little sponge. He knows its wrong but he always says it in context 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️. We tend to ignore him as if we respond, he carries on saying it 🤦🏻‍♀️. The first time he swore at nursery i was absolutely mortified but the staff told us even those parents who never swear around their kids, the children will still pick it up from either other kids (like mine 🤦🏻‍♀️), tv or even from a stranger walking past them having their own conversation. The more you make a deal of it, they will say it more. Kinda like a dont push the button scenario, all they wanna do is push the button 🤷🏼‍♀️

My little boy will say F***** Hell in the house every so often because he heard his dad say it. We've told him he can say it in the house, but he's not to say it outside or at nursery.

My son says "oh f'in hell!" which he learned from my Dad 🫩.
How do I know? My dad takes the grandkids out on the bus to town when he has them and one day they got the wrong bus, haha silly grandad what a funny story. The next day I was driving past the route they took with my son in the car and he went "that's not our bus stop, oh f'in hell!!!!" and I thought yep that's deffo my dad.

I have ignored it so far but he has said it a few times. He actually uses it in context when something goes wrong or he'd frustrated. It's not all the time but I've heard it 3-4 times now. It's actually really annoyed me cos I don't find it funny at all, I know some people do but I hate it.
