FIL cursed me out
If your FIL cursed you out but no one else was in the room to witness it would you tell your spouse or just let it die between the two of you? Knowing it would hurt your spouse to know his dad did that.

I’m always honest with my partner, it’s my MIL who make sly digs and comments but I always relay them to my partner just so he can understand why i’m reluctant to see the in laws. He usually shrugs it off but at least he’s aware for one day when i really lose my shit😅
Most definitely would let my husband know! We talk about everything to one another. Chances of it happening again are there so that's why I'd be telling him.
My husband has hid truth from me to preserve my feelings and I never appreciated it. Feels infantilizing
A hundred percent I would, and I know my husband would believe me because I've never given him reason not to trust me. We've always got each other's backs.

If you feel like it made you uncomfortable I would definitely raise it as an issue in case it was to happen again, he should also be in your corner with it 100%
