I think it honestly depends on the group and person. I'd like to think most are kind and caring but there are others who I think are just toxic and love drama.
I think a lot of people think they're being kind and offering their opinion and advice when it isn't wanted or they say it in a way that seems judgy (I think it's always hard on message to gather tone anyway).
Adding our own personal hormones, stories, lived experience I think sometimes we take things the wrong way or feel like the person doesn't truly understand our experience.
All in all though I think even the ones which don't seem it, are thinking they're being kind and helpful (if that makes sense!) X
