I would wait as long as possible, any kind of UV exposure can darken your existing scar.

It takes a few months for your hormones to reset. When we are pregnant we are super reactive to UV light and can get melasma.

35 years on my mum still has a “pregnancy mask” on her face from sunbathing when she was pregnant with me. Until you are a few months pp you burn and it can make permanent marks, especially on our faces. Pregnancy melasma can be pretty bad so id just fake tan until jan/feb

Have you thought of spray tan or home self tan? I have a bunch of bottles and sprays and I just tan myself at home. Unless I’m tanning at the beach and enjoying the beach I actually don’t do sunbeds, I use self tan. As summer is closing and I have a tan I want to keep, I use a daily moisturiser w built in tan and it just lengthens my tan and keeps my glow.
