Is Wild mint calm balm ACTUALLY good?

Hi all!
Has anyone used the WildMint calm balm with eczema? My 4mo has bad dry itchy skin on his forehead and scalp where he has eczema…
I do not want to use ANY steroids on him especially so young.
He is constantly making his skin weep on his head and I’m always finding new scratches. I cut his nails almost daily and use mittens for him as much as I HATE too because I want him to be able to grab and feel his surroundings as it’s part of development (plus he always escapes them eventually to scratch)

I currently use coconut oil (organic raw cold pressed) as a natural moisturiser but he immediately rubs it off so it’s really not giving his skin much moisture at all.
I’ve seen plenty of people raving about the calm balm but wanted to know if it is actually GOOD and worth the £20 for 100g of the stuff
I trust you ladies will give me the honest truth about this with your experience!
Please help! I want my poor boy to have something to help him relieve and calm his skin

Natural balms are great but take time to work. You also need to work on finding out the reason for the itching and eczema.
Erasing eczema is a great group on Facebook for this.
I highly recommend a high zinc content for the skin while it’s itchy/open/oozing. It helps to dry it up while protecting the skin.

Thank you! I will look at the group now.
I read other posts people have made and I saw many mention skinsalvation so I’m going to give that a try and it’s available in my local h&b.
I did cut dairy from my diet it helped from a couple days then it came back, I swapped his shower gels 3 times and the Fred and flo 97% natural helped for just over a week but last night it seemed to make it red all over again and I had to rinse him off completely and wash with water.

I’m going to look into getting myself some probiotic and multi vitamins with a higher dosage of vitamin D because I’ve read that that helps aswel as looking into all natural bars of soap with Shea butters and olive oils just something to try.

Stop bathing daily, they don’t need it. Don’t use anything except breastmilk if you have it in the bath. So many of the soaps have irritating ingredients in them. Feel free to dm me if you want to chat more.

I’ve been using the wildmint cosmetics calm balm for over a month now and it helped my baby’s eczema massively! *He’s 7 months for context* He had very raw dry and peeling skin under his neck and we were given steroid cream by the doctor which I wanted to try and avoid using. I was so impressed that the calm balm managed to clear it up by the second week of using! I now use it twice daily and his skin although still dry on occasion is so so much better than it was. I do highly recommend trying it, I was hesitant myself initially and only tried because I managed to get it on Black Friday sale, but is definitely worth a try! Before this we had used E47 creams and all the aveeno ones but nothing seemed to clear up the redness. Hope this helps 🩷
